Justin has built a life around exploration. Born in the Mediterranean, he served in the British Army, represented Britain in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht race, and has led trips all over the world.
His highlights include crossing Mongolia on horseback, summiting Mount Everest and coordinating over sixteen trips to the Arctic and Antarctica – one of which was a 2,500km unsupported kite-ski traverse of Antarctica with NASA.
A passionate conservationist, Justin continues to champion travel as a force for good and ensures every journey leaves a positive legacy. He brings decades of expedition leadership and explorational ambition to JORO combined with a first-hand understanding of the world's most demanding environments. He ensures that every journey is shaped by the same standards of excellence and sense of purpose that define his own explorations.
