A British Army veteran, Duncan has spent more than a decade working in some of the world’s most challenging environments, from polar tundra to African plains.
His experience spans overseas operations with the Army, running a horseback safari camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and guiding guests across land and sea on every continent.
As Co-founder and Director of Operations, Duncan oversees the teams, partners and suppliers responsible for delivering every JORO experience. He specialises in connecting the moving parts behind complex travel, from yacht passages aboard the world's leading expedition yachts to long-range explorations of the African Continent.
Duncan combines meticulous planning with an ability to anticipate challenges before they arise, building bulletproof plans and managing complex logistics with precision and absolute discretion.
Drawn to wild and remote landscapes, he is most at home in the mountains, forests and the rare places where wilderness still feels untamed.
